Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler June 28, 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. At the age of two, her mother retreated from the abusive relationship. In 1995, she returned into the world of Pickler and was granted the custody rights. However, it didn't go as planned. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents who raised her to adulthood. Pickler with the help of their parents as well as older siblings, became too distracted to study. She confessed that she did not have time to go to classes and started to be a domestic worker from a young age. Pickler took part in cheerleading activities at both her high and middle schools.
