Annie Mist Thorisdottir is from Reykjavik, Iceland. She is an Icelandic CrossFit pro athlete. She also trains and coaches at Crossfit Reykjavik, where she is also co-owner. Annie has the distinction of being only one woman ever to win at the CrossFit Games two times. In 2010, she finished 2nd. Annie Thorisdottir is a Icelanders CrossFit weightlifter, athlete and media celebrity. She became famous for becoming the first woman who taken home the two CrossFit Games, in 2011 and 2012 Also, she is known for winning the Dubai Fitness Competition in both 2013 and 2017. Annie as well as her parents and siblings were all born and raised within Reykjavik Iceland. Annie was an avid sportsperson and started working out at when she was a young age. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit competitions held in California. The first performances were good. Annie Thorisdottir's ages are 31 years old (as as of 2021). She's 5' 7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie started her CrossFit training in the year 2009 in California. She had a good performance at her very first games. She placed at the top of the list in 70 athletes. However she was unable to take home any titles and ended the tournament with 11th rank. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. Under the coaching of Jami Tikkanen, Annie placed second in CrossFit Games and was awarded a Silver medal that same year. In the following year she was a participant in another CrossFit games and because of her impressive performance, she took home the games as the very first female to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was again victorious at the CrossFit Games in 2012 due to her impressive performance. She became the first female athlete to be crowned the winner of twice in CrossFit Games at once. A silver medal was won in the year 2014 and then in 2021, she won the Bronze award in the CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a coach and trainer at Crossfit Reykjavik. This gym was founded by Annie. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson of various sports brands including Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Nuun Hydration-Periodization Sidekick, Yerbae and many others. Her own Youtube page has over 1,000 subscribers, where she posts videos of her family, travel and other topics as well as training diets.
